Oops

So, I missed my post last week in all the chaos.

For those who don't know, we live in southern California in the middle of nowhere. And with that comes fires. We haven't lived here long enough to experience many of them, but last week was the biggest one yet. And it was close!

I am an Oklahoma girl, so you can give me a tornado and I'm good to go. But fires?! I was a bit of a mess.

Last Monday, I spent the day running around like a lunatic and packing up all the essentials. At the same time, I was preparing for a power outage (those are not so uncommon here).

So this post is an apology. I was doing all kinds of things last week, and my blog post was shoved to the side.

Thankfully, nothing happened, and we were able to stay in our home. However, now I am left with the task of unpacking all of our crap, and I've been putting it off for days already. Oops.

Anyway, I don't have a lot more to update than that. This week I'm going to start planning book two in the Love in Corsaw series with the intention of starting writing at the beginning of October.
